Kai has been working with local fresh food and artisan producers for 28 years!
He has worked in prestigious venues like The old swan and minster mill, Stanton Manor hotel, Cotswold 88 and the Bristol hotel. He has also consulted, designed and opened 9 restaurants and clubs through the M4 corridor. He has been awarded 9 AA rosettes, a Michelin BIB gourmand and other food accolades' in his time as a chef. Kai was head chef at 21 and worked around Italy and Japan. His true passion comes with working with his supply. Knowing and visiting the farms to meeting the day boat fishermen of Cornwall.

The Ibex Inn has been lovingly restored back to a traditional country pub, boasting a welcoming log burner on cold wintery evenings, and spacious beer garden for relaxing on those long summer days.
